Meet Donna Garland

Hello there! I’m Donna, the proud cookie artist behind Donna's Designer Cookies, and I’m thrilled to sprinkle a little sweetness into your day! Recently, my husband and I swapped our trusty tractor from East Texas for a charming golf cart in the vibrant DFW area. I’m lucky to be married to my soulmate and the proud mama of two amazing grown kids and a delightful daughter-in-law.

My journey into the world of cookie decorating began one delightful day while watching a Food Network baking competition. I heard Duff Goldman mention that instead of hiring bakers, he prefers to work with art students for his cake designs. As someone who’s always had a creative spark, I thought, “Why not give cookie art a try?” And just like that, I discovered a new passion where my love for creativity meets the joy of sweets!
